First Day of School - September 1, 2015

The boys were surprisingly excited for the first day of school this year.  I think they were mostly excited for new backpacks, actually!

Jay is 8 and starting Grade 4 with Mme Tiffany Rasmussen.

Nathan is 7 and starting Grade 2 with Mme Joanne Weiler.

Carson is 10 and starting Grade 5 with Mme Rachel Vossler.  He is also sporting new clothes that he picked out for back to school.  Up until now the boys haven't really thought about what to wear, which was kind of nice!

Rusty is now 8 months old and likes to stare out the front window when we are out on the front steps.  This was her as we were taking back to school pictures.

They survived the first day!  This was them when I went to pick them up.  I had taken the earlier photos on my good camera, this was from my phone so we could send a picture to Uncle Jason.  They all love their new teachers and we hope it will be a good year.

Nathan's Birthday - can't believe he is 7!

Nathan requested that we go to Calaway Park this year for his birthday - with his new cousins and his Auntie Carmen and Uncle Jason.  Unfortunately seeing as the day fell on a Friday, Auntie C and Uncle J had to work.  So, we proceeded to the park with the cousins...

The boys were all dressed up and ready to go.  Jay wasn't looking too enthusiastic initially but warmed up as the day went on!

The wedding occurred at the CP Rail station in downtown Calgary.  I admit I didn't take a ton of pictures as I figured the photographer had it covered.

The boys will probably kill me, but I loved how Mitch & Jake were crying, happy tears!

Nathan went up to the bar and asked for a Sprite.  He then told the bar tender that he wanted it spiked!

I think the bar was one of his favourite places on the train!

We ate appetizers and had drinks on the trip out to Banff.  They then turned the train around and we headed back to Calgary.  Supper was served on the way back, and it was spectacular!

They had the speeches scattered through dinner, which was kind of nice.

The boys were given some masks.  Nathan didn't want to put his on, so this is Clarke,  Carson and Jay.

I tried to just get the boys to stand there for me to take a picture but it wasn't working...
